Is Mark Hughes The right man to take us forward?
byThe new season is about to start with a lot of optimism, but is Sparky capable enough to take us forward? Here is an interesting article I read. Points out doubts in Mark, much as I love him if we really are aiming to go to the top, I really feel we need someone with more quality and experience.Reply

Yesterday it was reported Manchester City had offered AC Milan £100m for Kaka with the players wages estimated at £500,000 a week but today City's owners said the deal is a no go which was followed by Mark Hughes saying the deal could still be on. I don’t know about you but if I were offered that much money I couldn’t think of any reason to turn it down, even Champions League football, you’d have to be mad.Reply

Wayne Bridde is gonna have medical at city before this
byI think Bridge is class and a much more of a complete footballer than ashley (pants) cole. Bridge is an out n out footballer who will definately help city's defence on the left where we need it. He needs to be playing regular and he will love City. Do you think Chelsea will miss him?? I hope he scores against 'em Com on City
, City for the FA cupReply - by
Been watching sky sports and this has got to be one of the best transfer deadlines ever. Man city are stoking the fires having just been bought by the Abu Dhabi United Group and have reportedly signed Robinho from Real Madrid for £32.5million and at the same time had a £30m offer for Berbatov accepted by Spurs just to tease United, great stuff.Reply

No doubt the readers will have heard of this controversy already, the person that should be most concerned is Mark Hughes. Just two months after he agreed to join the club and with talk of the club being the next powerhouse in the English game it has suddenly fallen flat. Reports have stated that all of Shinawatra's acquisitions since his takeover have been with a small down payment with big bulk payments to comeReply

When asked Sven Goran Eriksson was surprised and said he'd have to call his boss "I hope it's true, But I don't know if Ronaldinho wants to play in the Intertoto Cup next season." Roberto Assis has said the star could leave Barcelona, unless the Catalans lift some silverware. Tottenham boss Juande Ramos has also claimed he wants to sign Ronaldinho along with Chelsea, Liverpool andReply
