Beckham?

I'd be curious to hear what people think of Beckham playing for L.A.

I hear it has had a very positive effect on ticket sales around the MLS league.

It’s great for the MLS and ”Soccer” in the US but you can’t help but think if Steve McClaren hadn’t told him he wouldn’t play for England again Beckham would still be playing for a top European club and a regular for England.

No one can bend it like Beckham.

The transfer rumours suggesting Beckham is on his way too Newcastle United have started again.

The best thing I read, that is true about Beckham in the MLS, is that they won't properly understand or like him as a player, because he's not a flair player.

He's a great crosser of the ball and will work so hard, he will track back and make tackles. But he has lost alot of pace at his age and he was never that fast anyway. He's not a striker so won't score loads of goals but he will send some amazing crosses into the box.

I think/hope he will do so well at Milan. The Italian game will suit him and I can't wait to see his first game.

He's still an English hero. What he said when asked if players were too 'scared' when playing for England was perfect.
