I think that english football is out of competition in comparison to spanish

Not so sure about that, take a look at the Champions League.
I havn't seen much La Liga, didn't Thierry Henry retire to the Spanish League

La Liga and the Premier League are equally the best leagues.
La Liga for the excellent skill of the players and nail biting finish to almost every season.
The Premier League for its non stop frantic action and with more clubs making a realistic challenge to the top four next season could see one or two of them loose their grip on Champions League places.
