Some England supporters think Gerrard underperforms when he wears the national shirt, and that he had never been as good in the English team as he is in the Liverpool one.
I'd like to have some Liverpool supporters' opinion. Let me know what you think about it!?

I think the problem is playing him on the left, in that position there are better players like Joe Cole and when playing Gerrard with Lampard it just seems to confuse things. England should play with a holding midfielder Lamps in front and Gerrard in a free role, then we would probably talk about Gerrard for England the same way we talk about Messi.
