It is so weird to see how squads can appear great on the paper... and are finally not

Something must be wrong with the players mentality, this quad would make a great Premier League team and if the games against the USA and Algeria had been in the premiership we would have expected a great performance.
You can forgive Robert Green for that goal but the question is, why did Capello not do as he always said and play the best consistent player from the League in Joe Hart.
The Algeria game was very possibly the worst I have seen from an England team, usually when we need to give the team a boost you bring on Joe Cole, even if he doesn't get a goal he lifts the team ala Beckham.
Maybe Fabio is playing games with us all and has told the squad to take it easy until the next round.

The matter is that we need a better team than a Premier League one to be impressive during the World Cup, and players are not only concentrated on the current competition: I'm sure they are focusing on summer transfers and on their next season in championship.
And it is just crazy to see people asking for Capello resignation after those two matchs, whereas he cannot be responsible for every players' mistakes.
He is playing a dangerous game when he decides to make a side with some players which are not able to be part of the team together, and to leave some good players on the bench.Maybe Fabio is playing games with us all and has told the squad to take it easy until the next round.
But for sure he didn't tell the squad to take it easy: just need to have a look at his face during the matchs againts Algeria and the US. England is in danger and may not be part of the last 16.
A few days ago I was not thinking that I could write this

Walcott said: 'I am very disappointed not to be included in the squad going out to South Africa, but completely respect Mr Capello’s decision.
'I would like to wish the team the best of luck and hope they have a really successful tournament.'
