I don't know, other than the fact he said 'fellah' didn't he? Is the only bit of dialogue Bond has spoken pre-titles?

That would make more sense.

Anton is sort of right- it's the only time the fourth wall is broken in the series, even Moore nevert did that- but it's an interesting point in that OHMSS was the only Bond until Quantum of Solace to explicitly refer to events from a previous film (as Bond packs 'souvenirs' from past films in his office a little of the theme of each plays).
