I don't think any one player has stood out this season.

You would think Ronaldo due to all his awards but because of his injury he hasn't had as many great moments as last season which is probably when he should have got player of the year making it two in a row this year.

Cesc Fabregas looked to be a contender last season, the most improved player by a long way but since coming back from the Euro's he's not hit the same form. Don't get me wrong he's still playing great football, just doesn't seam to have that same spark.

Now that I think about it, given the amount of starts he's had and gaols scored, Anelka is probably the one.
