Barry transfer, should he stay or should he go?
Martin O'Neill has said Gareth Barry can go if Liverpool meet his asking price of £17million and has now given Barry a hefty fine and banned him from the training ground for what's been reported in the press.
Liverpool have made Four bids with the second one said to be £15million so they must be getting close to the asking price.
I guess this is now more about making it difficult for both Barry and Liverpool than it is about the money.
What happens if the asking price is not met, will O'Neill stand firm and leave Barry out of the team next season? Out of all the managers in the league if anyone was to show an example Martin O'Neill would be the one.Unregistered - 5th July 2008 - Comments

Arsenal are now trying to hijack Barry's transfer to Liverpool. He'd have a better chance of Champions League with them.
