Default Ronaldinho to sign for City?

Rumours are rife that Ronaldinho will be playing in the Premier League next season possibly wearing a Manchester City shirt after his agent and brother Roberto Assis held talks at Eastlands over the weekend.

When asked Sven Goran Eriksson was surprised and said he'd have to call his boss "I hope it's true, But I don't know if Ronaldinho wants to play in the Intertoto Cup next season."

Roberto Assis has said the star could leave Barcelona, unless the Catalans lift some silverware.

Tottenham boss Juande Ramos has also claimed he wants to sign Ronaldinho along with Chelsea, Liverpool and AC Milan.

This would surely be the signing of the century so far.

Frank Rijkaard has confirmed today that Ronaldinho could be leaving Barcelona in the summer. Ronaldinho's agent has been in talks with AC Milan but say's they haven't agreed a fee for the player.

Does this mean he will be going to AC Milan in favour of Manchester City or does it open the way for more talks, I would expect his agent will be talking to any club that have the money and Thaksin Shinawatra is said to have plenty of it.
