I'd like to have some Liverpool supporters' opinion. Let me know what you think about it!? :)

Although I'm not a Liverpool fan, their recent performances saddens me.I may not be too amiss to say that Gerrard and Torres are some of the top players in the world today. And the team as a whole, are technically superior to Chelsea(at least to me)...Maybe they lack the drive, the killer instinct.Mr.Benitez should know better, I'm sure.

In case you didn’t know, Steven Gerrard has a new book out entitled ‘My Captain’s Book’ - a unique personal insight into life as captain of Liverpool FC. It is out now, obviously in time for Christmas.

He is a player that has over 500 appearances for his club and 34 for his country. Much has been said about his highly controversial comments in his recent autobiography. But let us not forget the other rumblings that have gone on over the players career, only last September Carragher was arrested and cautioned for assault outside a school near to his home.

Last July Carragher phoned up Talksport radio to defend himself after being branded a "bottler" by the host, Adrian Durham, for retiring from international football. During this debate the player stated that he was as much a fan of football than any other, this is contrary when compared to his statements in his autobiography where he states that the England results meant little when compared to Liverpool's. He also went on to defend himself in the phone-in by stating that his professional record stands for itself over the past ten to twelve years.

In other portions of his autobiography he claims to have purposefully hurt fellow teammate Rigobert Song during training after the former made mockery of his ability. If that is not bad enough he also divulges in a mafia boss style manner that his close friends were ready to assault footballer Lucas Neil due to his involvement in a tackle that left Carragher with fractured legs, this was averted due to Neil being with one of Carragher''s friends, David Thompson, with Carragher not wanting his friend to "become a witness to an assault".

This is all very shocking news about one of England's most decorated domestic player of this decade. Other incidents have followed Carragher, in 2002 at Highbury he was involved in another fracas by throwing a coin back into the crowd during the match, the coin hit an innocent female Arsenal fan. It must be stated that he was retaliating but it is something that every professional footballer has to put up with sometime in his career.

His autobiography has many derogatory comments in it, that will no doubt anger many people. What must be asked if that Liverpool''s vice-captain really has any brains at all. He must of known the amount of criticism that he would be put under, but it will sell copies of his book and make him richer.

For someone so out spoken it is surprising to hear that he intends to take management up after his playing career. One thing that is for certain is that he will not be a front runner for the England job anytime in his managerial career

Going on form this result sould be around Liverpool 1 - 6 Arsenal but I'm sure it will be a bit different to that, most of the sky pundits were going for a draw or Liverpool win and I guess Liverpool will be trying to prove they are contenders for the title. Maybe now there almost out of the Champions League they will be.
