La Liga and the Premier League are equally the best leagues.
La Liga for the excellent skill of the players and nail biting finish to almost every season.
The Premier League for its non stop frantic action and with more clubs making a realistic challenge to the top four next season could see one or two of them loose their grip on Champions League places.

For a few years, much of English clubs have become companies and not teams of football. Some are even the toy of only one man (Abrahimovitch for Chelsea, Shinawatra for City…)
The places are increasingly expensive, the ultra movement is extinct, but especially the teams are from now on made up foreign mercenaries. These foreign players are more exotic and make sell shirts. But you think they harm the identity of the club?
Me I think that yes, and they prevent has many English to bore with the high level. Is even the case for many local young people who dream since we was kid playing in the club of their city. I find that ethics takes a blow of it and that is a real problem for national team.

Are you as revolted by the turn as takes the clubs of Premier League?

Well, well. I agree on that. I'm sorry too, I'm Dutch, so my English isn't that good:)! But, everyone thinks Dutch football is great and highclass, but it isn't actually. Ofcourse, there are reasons, but not from Holland, more the companies that mikapagis14 was talking about. Italian, Spanish and English clubs (or shall I say companies) have more money, and yes, with a lot of money and the best players, you get the best competition!
